Grant has spent the last 12 years covering and working in baseball as a broadcaster, reporter and writer. He is currently the station’s Braves and baseball reporter and the host of “Around The Big Leagues,” which can be heard on Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m. on The Game and on iTunes. Prior to his time with 92-9 The Game, Grant spent four years as a producer/writer with the Atlanta Braves Radio Network from 2005-2008. That was followed by four seasons in the Tampa Bay Rays organization in Port Charlotte, FL, where he was the play-by-play voice and director of media relations for the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Florida State League from 2009-2012.

Braves outfielder Olivera arrested, charged with assault and battery

Atlanta Braves left fielder Hector Olivera was arrested and charged with one count of count of misdemeanor assault and battery stemming from an alleged incident at the team’s hotel in Arlington, Va., on Wednesday morning.
