Atlanta United color analyst Jason Longshore joined The Midday Show in studio to talk Five Stripes with Rick Kamla and John Michaels.

Longshore explained what adding Ezequiel Barco and Darlington Nagbe means to United and the future of the team. He compared Barco to players in other sports (Chipper jones when he first came to Atlanta) and called him an in-between guy based on what he has accomplished so far.

In terms of longevity, Nagbe will be with the United for a while and Barco might not last long due to his talent, but could stay a while depending on how things pan out.

Longshore talked about United’s biggest loss, but added Barco came in to replace him.
The conversation turned to supporters and Longshore described the fan base for United and said they haven’t gotten to the fanatical stage yet like Falcons fans wanting every player traded or fired.

Longshore gave us an update for the training schedule and when they will be heading to Florida to train before their preseason match against Nashville FC.

He then explained why Atlanta United is the team to hate in the MLS.
