Falcons Radio Network analyst Dave Archer joined The Morning Show with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas to talk about the Conference Championship games and the Atlanta Falcons’ new quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp.
Archer said the penalties certainly hurt Jacksonville in the AFC Championship game but New England’s defense played over their head. They took away the run game and made plays when they needed to.
Meanwhile, Phily’s run-pass offense wore out the Vikings defense. Who’s to say the Falcons could have gone up to Minnesota and beat them? They were giving up monster chunks of yards; something they haven’t done all year.
Archer anticipates a great game defensively for Philly against Brady and the Patriots. He thinks the Eagles will find a way to get it done because he’s an NFC side.
