Several weather forecasts are calling for light freezing rain to develop very late Sunday night into Monday morning. While less than a tenth of an inch of ice is expected, school officials are not wasting anytime in making the call to close schools in order to keep students safe.

In addition to the weather that may affect morning traffic, in the afternoon close to 100,000 people are expected to be in downtown Atlanta for the big college football championship game on Monday night.
