Aaron Murray: ‘An SEC Championship is Not Enough’

Damn Good Dawg and current CBS Sports analyst Aaron Murray talked Dawgs on The Midday Show with Rick and John.

They started by asking Murray about scary situations and how Jake Fromm should handle those bad moments. They talk about game-day prep as a player and how to just go into it and not buy all the hype.

Murray compliments Auburn but worries about keeping the quarterback in the pocket to be successful.

They talk about a season checklist and that just playing in the SEC championship is not good enough for the Georgia Bulldogs. This team has a goal of national championship and nothing less.

The subject of Jacob Eason came up and if the Dawgs would have the kind of success without Fromm under center. The “Dawgs would have the same record if Jacob Eason was the quarterback and not Fromm because the quarterback has not been asked to do that much and the running game is so strong,” said Murray.

Murray credits the running game for a lot of the success this season. He loves that the Gators have fallen on their face. He talks about the best player on the field is a trio for UGA.
