Falcons Radio Network analyst Dave Archer joined The Morning Show with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas to talk about Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers and this Atlanta team at the midway point of the season.

He used the word “inconsistent” to describe the Falcons up to this point.

Offensively, they’ll look great on one play, and the very next play, they look like they don’t know what they’re doing. It “boggles the mind” that they can’t get a third-and-1 or fourth-and-1.

Defensively, those guys are continuing to scrape and battle to give themselves a chance. The Falcons are two touchdowns better than that team they played Sunday. They can’t allow themselves to fall into the “you’re not good enough” hole. Archer says they need to let the fans/media be disappointed but they need to find a way to pick themselves up because they have the talent.
