Dave Archer: ‘More Problems and Questions’ than the 2016 Falcons

Falcons Radio Network analyst Dave Archer joined The Morning Show with John and Hugh Monday to talk about the team’s loss to the New England Patriots. Arch says they were simply outplayed.

The Falcons have been anemic in the red zone and are unable to get the opponent’s off the field on third down. Vice versa, the offense needs to figure out a way to convert on third down.

Archer agrees with John about not using Devonta Freeman at the goal line. “That guy [Sarkisian] decided he wanted to do something different at the goal line,” said Archer.

He wasn’t sure what they saw on fourth down in the film room that made them think the jet sweep was going to work. It seems like now, they are getting pushed around like in the Eagles game last year.

There’s more problems and questions on this team than there was a year ago.
