Civil Rights leader and Founder of Rainbow Push Coalition, Rev. Jesse Jackson is spending the weekend in Atlanta to promote the annual Creating Opportunity Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. During his visit he participated in the Atlanta Mayoral Forum sponsored by Rainbow PUSH, The Atlanta University Consortium and the National Black MBA Association moderated by Rashad Richey held on Thursday evening. One thing noted during the event was the absence of mayoral front-runner Mary Norwood. Norwood had committed to participating in the conversation but canceled roughly an hour before the debate. Rev Jackson addressed the Atlanta Mayor’s race on Real Talk with Rashad Richey.
