ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks released a statement Friday about their point guard Dennis Schroder.

“We are aware of an incident involving Dennis Schröder earlier this morning. We are still gathering information as it pertains to the situation, and out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time.”

ESPN NBA Insider, Adrian Wojnarowski, reported on Friday that Schroder had been arrested early Thursday morning.

Mike Conti is reporting that the Brookhaven Police Department has a record for a man named Dennis Schroder.

Conti is still waiting for confirmation from the Brookhaven PD, but reported that four people were arrested at the Buford Hookah Lounge, one being Schroder.
