The Falcons opened their season on the road against the Chicago Bears on Sunday and came away with a 23-17 win. It all came down to a defensive goal-line stand in the final seconds which ended with a Brooks Reed sack on QB Mike Glennon. Hugh said this is the kind of game that you love, where the defense needs to bow-up. The offensive line had to make several adjustments; and Wes Schweitzer had a tough game.

Meanwhile, Atlanta United won their debut game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium 3-0 over Dallas FC. That fast field was really fitting for the speed United likes to play with.
