Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, John Eaves called for a criminal probe into R. Kelly and cited “new evidence” as the reason. The John Creeks Police Department pushed back and said there’s no new evidence in the case and no reason to open a criminal investigation. Chairman Eaves said he decided to do a press conference about the matter because of his responsibility to his constituents. According to R Kelly’s camp, the singer/songwriter is furious. Eaves answered tough questions about his role in the matter.
