Dan Quinn Offers 5 Falcons Who Have Taken Strides In Offseason

FLOWERY BRANCH — Before the Atlanta Falcons opened camp on Thursday, head coach Dan Quinn joined John Fricke and Hugh Douglas on The Morning Show to wrap up the offseason.

The Falcons have had an up-and-down offseason since losing to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. But the players have turned the corner and are laser-focused on the 2017 season.

Quinn spent some time talking about the upcoming season and gave five players who have stepped it up in preparations of making another run at the big game.

On defense, Quinn said linebacker Deion Jones came back on a mission. Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen were also standouts.

On offense receiver Mohamed Sanu, who Quinn said was explosive upon returning to Flowery Branch, and tackle Ryan Schraeder came to mind for the coach. Quinn said Schraeder had his biggest development.
