The Morning Sports News: ‘3rd Inning Fireworks’

Braves Fans didn’t have to wait til after the game for fireworks last night as the Astros put up 5 runs in the first 3 innings last night on their way to a 16-4 victory over the Braves. Freddie Freeman made his return to the lineup and started at third base, he went 1 for 4 at the plate in his return. Hugh said “Houston is a really good team, and last night was a tough one for the Braves, but they have to put that one behind them.”

The Atlanta United got some bad news before their game yesterday as Alec Kann will miss the next six weeks due to a quad injury, but the United were able to overcome the loss of their goalie for a 4-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
