The Morning Sports News: Braves Bats Come Alive

The Atlanta Braves bats came alive Sunday as Ender Inciarte led the way with a 5-for-5 performance with five RBI. Matt Adams had his third home run of the series as the team took the rubber game against the Cincinnati Reds, 13-8.

John Fricke said, “People are asking how you got a guy like Matt Adams if he plays this well. And it’s because first base around the league is loaded at that position, he wasn’t even a starter in St. Louis.”

The NBA Finals resumed Sunday night as the Cavs-Warriors took the court for Game 2. Once again, Golden State dropped the hammer on Cleveland in the second half on route to a 132-113 win. Kevin Durant, once again, led the Warriors in scoring with 33 while LeBron James led Cleveland with a 29 and his eighth NBA Finals triple-double.
