In the city of Atlanta, the bar scene is like no other. From iconic bars where some of American’s greatest politicians call their watering hole, to bars with world renowned burgers, or famous pubs that serve some of Atlanta’s best dishes, you can place your bet on a many locations in our great city. Since the 1950s Manuel’s Tavern has been a night-life haven for crowds in the Poncey-Highland area of Atlanta.Their menu features classics such as burgers, steaks, and wings, as well as over 30 beers on tap and many to choose from in bottles. Tucked in one of the coolest neighborhoods, Little Five Points, The Porter Bar has become as staple for locals to dine and drink some of the best beers on tap and bottle in the city. When pint and plate is included in the name of a great bar, how can you not visit? It’s one of Midtown Atlanta’s most popular locations where all come to enjoy a pint and a plate of great bar food. It’s a popular local hangout with daily features like trivia Wednesdays and 1/2 off apps Friday. Not to mention, during football season you’ll find it crowded with locals cheering for their favorite team enjoying some of the many beers they offer on tap that change frequently during the seasons. Located near Georgia Tech within Midtown, it’s easy to find and easy to locate this wonderful restaurant, but make sure you take a Lyft or Uber the area parking can become quite scarce.

Holeman and Finch has to be one of the most iconic bars in Atlanta with one of the most iconic burgers in the United States. Yep I said it, the United States. They are famous for their mouth watering cheeseburger, which is now on their menu, day and night. Their burger use to be a special menu item that only the late night crowd got to experience, exclusively served after 10 p.m. One of the best in the country, it’s a double patty on a house-made bun with melted cheese, pickles, onions, and a side of fries. They have other quality dishes but let’s face it, everyone orders the burger. The burger aside, Holeman and Finch is one of the best contemporary bars with a wide selection of beers and cocktails to wash down that amazing burger. Make it your first stop when visiting the city of Atlanta, you won’t be disappointed.
