Ok…I have a question, Does it really surprise you that when Trump was asked about being president, he said,
“I, actually, this is more work than my previous life. I thought it would be easier. I thought it was more of a — I’m a details-oriented person I think you would say that. But I do miss my old life. I like to work, so that’s not a problem, but this is actually more work.”
Ok where do I start? First off, if you have a 6th grade education you know being president probably is a pretty difficult job. When Trump explained why it was harder than he imagined, he didn’t say because he has to wake up early every morning to work for the American people, or he’s up late at night handling world affairs but the reason why being president is more difficult, is because he can’t go where he wants to go, he can no longer drive his own car, he can’t eat at his favorite restaurant and secret service is a nag… yep…that’s basically what he said.
And remember this is the same President who goes golfing almost every other weekend. What was Trump thinking this job was about. Maybe he thought he was being made king but now realizes in a democracy, you’re a president and those who elected you expect you to make sacrifices and work for them as a public servant for the public good.
