New defensive end Takkarist McKinley was so emotional Thursday after being drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons that he let spill a few f-bombs on NFL Network while speaking with Deion Sanders.

He then uttered what has become a viral phrase, “Fine me later.”

Turns out, the NFL won’t be taking any of the rookie’s new-found cash, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

McKinley, who let slip the colorful language while telling the story of making a promise to his grandmother on her deathbed, will need to watch his mouth moving forward. The league likely won’t be as forgiving with another transgression. The Falcons have already stated they’ll work with him to polish his off-the-field remarks, but don’t want him changing on the field.

“We’ll appreciate that kind of enthusiasm,” Dan Quinn said of McKinley’s expletive-laden interview.
