Anyone who has ever seen a child around a dog know the spirit-lifting effects these animals can have. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) agrees, and has instituted the Canines for Kids Animal Assisted Therapy program to help ease anxiety for hospitalized children and promote shorter recovery times. This year, they are partnering with Neiman Marcus Shoe Salon for the Canines for Kids Fashion Show. Hosted by CHOA’s Patti Dickey, the Canines for Kids Fashion Show promises heavenly bites, bubbly libations, and plenty of money raised to make some children very happy.
