Georgia Tech played at McCamish Pavilion last night in the opening round of the NIT against higher seeded Indiana, and the Jackets will advance to the second round as they topped the Hoosiers 75-63. Hugh says “Indiana is a team that lives or dies by the three and Tech did a great job on defense holding them to only 63 points last night.”

The NCAA tournament is down to 66 teams as the first two games of the opening round were played last night seeing Kansas State top Wake Forest and Mt. St. Mary’s advance over New Orleans.
