Clayton County Police Release Suspect Sketch In Double Homicide And Home Invasion

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA- County Police investigating a double homicide and home invasion in Ellenwood, released composite sketches of two suspects Wednesday thought to be responsible for the crime. This occurred Monday at a home in the 4400 block of Chester Lane.
Cops said they found When they found a female inside the home and a male in the garage suffering from gunshot wounds.

Scherell Venisee, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dectric Searcy was transported to a local area hospital for treatment where he later died.
Searcy was confronted in the garage by two suspects. They entered the home and confronted Venisee, who tried to get them to leave. One of the suspects opened fire, striking both victims.

Police say they found a felony amount of drugs inside the home which had led them to believe the incident is drug related.

Investigators described suspect number 1 as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s with a “skinny/weak” build. He is clean shaven with red or pink tips on twists in his hair.

Suspect number two is around 5’8″ or 5’9″ with tattoos on the side of his neck and a low cut hair style. He is described by police as a black male in his mid 20’s with no noticeable facial hair.
