Rick and John offer worldly advice on life; and it could change your life.

Whether it’s work, sports, life, fatherhood or just daily knowledge, Rick and John talked about some of the best and worst advice they have been given. John remembers being told to “learn everything” in radio. Make sure you know it all because you can make yourself more valuable. He learned you need to be OK to move around. Unless your roots are dug too deep, be OK to move to another state to learn your craft. John remembers his mom telling him to treat the janitor as you would treat everybody. Someone told him to always “stay in your lane” and “less is more.”

Mark was told to “treat your cooler well and your cooler will treat you well.” That was more of a life lesson, not just to keep you cold ones cold. He was also told to be successful in radio you have to be an a-hole. That’s crap. Paul was reminded to make sure people know where you stand, at all times.
