We may have a shootout on our hands.

After the Seahawks started things off with an impressive 8:34 scoring drive on Saturday afternoon, the Falcons answered in kind with their own 13-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 7:12 to tie things up early in the second quarter in Atlanta.

Matt Ryan looked at ease in the pocket against a usually ferocious Seahawks defense, and distributed the ball with ease to his running back combination of Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman in addition to Julio Jones, who scored the game-tying TD on a simple screen pass at the Seahawks’ seven yard line.

Early on, both offenses have made it look easy, which could make for a wild, high-scoring contest in Atlanta if things continue at this rate.

The over/under for the game is set at 51, and the total could go well over that in the very near future if defenses don’t start asserting themselves very soon.
