It all started when Knox Bardeen joined The Midday Show with Rick & John — as he does every Tuesday at 1 p.m. for the weekly Barbershop Bickerfest — a week ago and said “Clemson doesn’t stand a chance in hell at beating Alabama.”

Fewer than 24 hours later, a bet was made: the loser shaves the winner’s logo in the back of his head. Rick Kamla had Clemson, Bardeen had Alabama.

With the final score of 35-31, Clemson won its first national title since 1981. And then Bardeen paid off the bet…
