Fulton County Chairman John Eaves stopped by Real Talk and spoke with Rashad Richey and the WAOK community on the recent spike of carjackings that have taken place in South Fulton. The issue of carjackings in South Fulton were pushed into the spotlight after former Fulton County Judge Marvin Arrington’s car was stolen while patronizing a gas station. His son, Councilman Marvin Arrington Jr., addressed the Fulton County Board of Commissioners about the issue in efforts to curtail the carjackings, but was unsuccessful in his efforts.

After a week of discussions and community patrols conducted by Rashad Richey and the Street Groomers, Chairman John Eaves addressed the issue of carjackings and the preventive measures being taken to eradicating this issue in South Fulton.
