Rick and Johns Weekly Segment with Hawks Coach Mike Budenholzer.

Rick tried to get coach to exhale on the air but he didn’t play along. Coach Bud talked about how they got back to moving people, moving the ball and everybody making better decisions on the court. Bud told us he hasn’t seen anyone play longer or harder than Russell Westbrook has these past few games with his triple doubles. Mike explained to us how the guys got away from their bread and butter play of spreading the ball around and have now tried to get back to accomplishing that. Coach Bud told us that the Kent Bazemore injury should be short to medium as far as how much time he misses. Bud said there is nothing wrong with Kyle Korver and he has just been shaking up the lineup to see what works that can help the team.

Mike thinks Taurean Prince has done an impressive job as a rookie when he has gotten to play. Coach Bud talked about how Paul Millsap has a great feel for the game and what he has been able to do without a full training camp behind him. Bud said he has casually been watching the MLB hot stove and his LA Dodgers. Mike told us holds Coach Spoelstra in high regards and is impressed with him.
