Today on Too Much Truth Derrick Boazman spoke with Harold Franklin, the regional director of Election Protection. Election Protection is the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition which encourages Georgia voters to exercise their voice. They are a national organization making sure people know their rights and how to protect those rights from any issues that may arise. Derrick also spoke to Sandra Bland’s mother Geneva Reed-Veal who spoke about the importance of people getting out to vote on Tuesday. She also spoke in April at the newly formed Congressional Caucus on Black Women and Girls. Veal, the owner of a real estate business, has been outspoken in combating social injustice and gun violence in the United States.
