As December 17th quickly approaches for the 2nd Annual Air Force Reserves Celebration Bowl at Noon live from the Georgia Dome here in Atlanta, the standings for both the MEAC and SWAC are shaking out. The best of Historically Black Colleges and University Football will be on display during this weekend.

On top of the MEAC remains defending champion North Carolina A&T. The Aggies destroyed Florida A&M last Saturday by the score of 42-17 on Homecoming in Greensboro. North Carolina Central also has a matching conference record of 5-0, followed by South Carolina State at 3-1. A&T will take on the Bulldogs this Saturday and the Eagles on November 19th in the Aggie-Eagle Classic from Durham, NC.

In the SWAC, Grambling State and Southern are tied in the Western Division at 5-0. In the Eastern Division, defending Celebration Bowl Representative Alcorn State is atop with a 3-3 record, tied with Jackson State. The SWAC Championship will take place on December 3rd to determine who will take the path to Atlanta and represent the conference.

On this Sunday morning at 8:00, Sam Crenshaw will have John Grant, Jr, Executive Director of the Celebration Bowl live in studio to talk all things surrounding the pageantry of this contest.
