Atlanta – The search is on for a man who police say assaulted a 10-year-old girl as she walked to her elementary school.

The incident happened the morning of Sept. 29th as the little girl walked along MLK Jr. Drive near Mozely Park. The girl told authorities the man grabbed her from behind and dragged her along a trail in the park. He then proceeded to sexually assault her and even threatened to hurt her if she screamed.

The GBI released this sketch of the suspect who is believed to be a black male, in his early 20’s with brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects whereabouts is urged to call Crimestoppers at 404-577-8477. A reward of $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
