Early Voting Bring Hundreds Out In Near Record Heat

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA- Hundreds of people snaked their way around metal barriers Tuesday in day two of early voting. The Gwinnett County Board of Voter Registration and Elections was not the place to beat the heat as hundreds braved mid 80 degree temperatures. The early afternoon hour heat did not deter the early voters who said this election is too important. The issues they cited included health care, immigration and the economy

Most counties will open a handful of early voting locations during the first two weeks and add more during the final week before Election Day. Early voitng will last through November 4th.
Just over six and a half million voters are registered in Georgia after a surge of voter registrations this election year.
