Benjamin E. Mays High School, in southwest Atlanta, has more security today. Atlanta Public Schools Police Chief Ronald Applin says it’s out of an abundance of caution after a student was shot on campus Saturday. APS officials say students were returning to campus following the Homecoming football game at the Georgia Dome when someone started firing gunshots from a car. A 17 year old student was struck. The gunman remains on the loose.
