Golfing Legend Arnold Palmer Dies At 87

The world of golf, and sports in general, was rocked Sunday night by the death of an icon.

Arnold Palmer, one of the greatest golfers in the history of the game, and known simply as “The King”, died at age 87.

Palmer was born in Pennsylvania in 1929 to a father that was a golf pro and a greenskeeper. His father took a pair of golf clubs, cut them down and taught his son to play.

Arnold Palmer went on to become the greatest.
