The baseball world lost one of it’s brightest young stars early Sunday morning when Miami Marlins ace right-hander Jose Fernandez and two of his friends were killed in a boating accident in Miami.

Authorities discovered the boat, and the bodies of the three victims, around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

As news broke on Sunday the baseball world began to react immediately at the shocking, tragic news.
