Week two of the NFL was a tough week to be a fan or a fantasy football GM. Many teams around the league witnessed major pieces go down to injury. Here, I plan to give you the update on how many of those injuries are looking so that you can have insight as to if they will be in the lineup on Sunday.

1. Adrian Peterson RB Minnesota Vikings
Peterson is out with torn meniscus in his right knee. The Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer told the media Thursday that he expects Peterson to be miss months instead of weeks with his injury.

2. Jay Cutler QB Chicago Bears
Cutler has taken a lot of criticism after this past week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Apparently, he suffered an injury to his thumb in week one and it was reaggravated on Monday night. Cutler is set to miss this week’s matchup with the Cowboys but a timetable has not been set for his return.

3. Ameer Abdullah RB Detroit Lions
Abdullah has been placed on the Injury Reserve list due to his injured left foot. He had surgery on that foot Wednesday and when Lions head coach Jim Caldwell was asked if Ameer would return this season he simply replied, “We’ll see.”

4. Thomas Rawls RB Seattle Seahawks
Rawls suffered a shin injury during Seattle’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He is listed as questionable even though he did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. His time on Sunday will be limited at best.

5. Donte Moncrief WR Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck will be without one of his favorite targets for a while. Moncrief will be out four to six weeks with a fractured scapula (shoulder).

6. Doug Baldwin WR Seattle Seahawks
Baldwin injured his knee against the Los Angeles Rams. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and was a full participant in practice on Thursday. Look for him to be on the field Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

7. Danny Woodhead RB San Diego Chargers
Many fantasy football GM’s were crushed to find out that Woodhead is going to be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

8. Arian Foster RB Miami Dolphins
Foster did not practice Thursday for the Dolphins due to a groin injury. He is initially listed as doubtful but the injury has been updated and Foster will miss this week and probably the next week as well.

9. Doug Martin RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Doug Martin injured his hamstring the past week against Arizona. He is slated to miss up to around three weeks.

10. Jonathon Stewart RB Carolina Panthers
Stewart left the game very early against the San Francisco 49ers. He suffered a hamstring injury and is reportedly going to miss two to three weeks nursing the strain.
