Ryan Mayer

The Falcons and Raiders have been engaged in a seesaw affair all afternoon with multiple lead changes and big plays on both sides throughout. After the Falcons gave up a Raiders touchdown to tie the game on fourth and goal, Matt Ryan and company marched down the field thanks to big plays from Devonta Freeman and Julio Jones.

Once inside the red zone however, it was a seldom-targeted, second-year receiver who made the big play to give them the lead. Justin Hardy, who had just one catch on two targets last weekend, came up with one of the weirder touchdowns you’ll see to put the Falcons on top, 28-21, in the fourth quarter.
