Fulton County Commissioner Jailed On Battery Charges

FULTON COUNTY, GA- Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr.turned himself in to Fulton County police. he commissioner was charged with one count of Misdemeanor Battery Friday morning. The misdemeanor charge stemmed from an incident that authorities say happened on September 11 at the couple’s College Park, Ga home.
According to the police report, the battery allegedly happened when his wife, Kristen Reed Arrington, tried to grab his smart phone and call a female contact in his address book. The report further stated Arrington jr grabbed and shoved his wife.

Arrington jr is the district 5 commissioner, which encompasses East Point, East Atlanta and various parts of Union City and College Park.
The judge granted Arrington Jr. a $2,000 bond. He is no longer in the building, according to jail officials.
