UPDATE: Police Say No Evidence Of Shooting At Art Institute Of Atlanta

Reports indicate that a power outage lead some to believe that shots had been fired on the campus. Police say they have gone door-to-door and that there was no shooting on the campus.

Police had been investigating a report of shots fired at the Art Institute of Atlanta. Student Jalen Stevenson told V103 News “the power went out, and the school went on lockdown.” He goes on to say that there are “heavily armed police” on the Sandy Springs campus and “a helicopter” hovering overhead.
