Well, Georgia fans, you might want to sit down for this one.
First of all, don’t take it out on us. We didn’t make this call, NFL.com’s Gil Brandt did.
Brandt is saying that he is picking as his CFB upset of the week Mizzou over UGA.
That’s right, even though Georgia is technically a 6.5 point favorite, Brandt says it’s not happening.
Now Missouri DOES lead the SEC in passing, with 379.5 yards per game.
But UGA is second in the league in pass defense. So those two should balance each other out.
No doubt Brandt is basing his pick on Georgia’s performance in the first two weeks. After winning a close hard fought game over North Carolina in the opener, UGA barely escaped from in between the hedges with a two point over Nicholls State last week.
Making their 2016 SEC schedule debut this week, things are bound to get tougher.
What do you think about this Georiga fans?
