Each week we’ll rank the teams in the SEC and preview their upcoming match-ups. This past weekend was Week 2! Let’s break it down…
-Alabama (2-0) At Mississippi. The Rebels have been the Tide’s biggest issue the past two seasons. Control this game and a wall-to-wall unbeaten run at #1 could be taking place.
-Tennessee (2-0) Home vs. Ohio. The Vols found their footing in the 2nd part of a game at Bristol. Green flag flying now and it might be off to the races.
-Florida (2-0) Home vs. North Texas. Yes, the schedule has been easy but it appears, in Luke Del Rio, the Gators have the one thing they have been lacking. A solid QB.
-Georgia (2-0) At Missouri. This will be interesting to see which team the Dawgs are. Here’s betting they are the better one.
-Texas A&M (2-0) At Auburn. This might be high but the door is now open for Sumlin’s bunch to be this year’s team that makes the big leap into the West division title race.
-Mississippi (1-1) Home vs. Alabama. Having to face FSU and ‘Bama (the top 2 rated teams in the nation) in the first 3 games is ridiculously hard.
-Arkansas (2-0) Home vs. Texas State. The TCU win was impressive now can they build on it?
-LSU (1-1) Home vs. Mississippi State. A ton is still in front of Tigers but they still have lots to prove on offense.
-Auburn (1-1) Home vs. Texas A&M. Finally some offense, now another test against Aggies.
-Mississippi State (1-1) At LSU. Showed life in shaking off shocking loss to South Alabama. We find out a lot about them this week.
-South Carolina (1-1) Home vs. East Carolina. Just what the Gamecocks didn’t need. An already dangerous ECU beat NC State last week.
-Missouri (1-1) Home vs. Georgia. The Tigers played far better in week-2 against a bad team. UGA will be a major challenge.
-Vanderbilt (1-1) At Georgia Tech. Should be a tight, physical game this week in Atlanta.
-Kentucky (0-2) Home vs. New Mexico State. The way UK has started there aren’t many winning chances now. This week is one of them.
