COBB COUNTY,GA – A Cobb County grand jury has indicted the woman accused of killing her daughter-in-law, a 35-year-old kindergarten teacher and mother of two who was going through a divorce.
In June Elizabeth “Betsy” Wall, 63, allegedly shot Jenna Wall four times, leaving her to die in her family’s west Cobb home, according to police. Investigators said she had researched shootings and bought a gun more than two months earlier. This was brought out during a probable cause hearing in July.
On Thursday, the grandmother was indicted on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of firearm during commission of a felony, and two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree, according to the Cobb District Attorney.
