RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, earned his 23rd career gold medal Saturday night with a win in the 4×100 medley relay.
Phelps has won a total of five gold medals in the pool during these Summer games. He also took silver in the 100 meter butterfly on Friday night.
Having come out of retirement to compete at these Rio Olympics, Phelps is adamant that he will not compete four years from now when the games are conducted in Tokyo.
