For generations talcum powder has been used in bathrooms and nurseries. Recently, the maker of Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower was ordered to pay $127 Million in compensatory damage. Johnson & Johnson was found guilty of conspiracy, negligence, and failure to warn women of the heightened risk of cancer linked with the use of talcum powder in the genital area.
