Maria Boynton Reports: Old National Highway Area on The Decline, Activists Push For Change

When a move was afoot earlier this year to name a portion of Old National Highway in south Fulton County after megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar, the neighbors called it “disgusting”. Community activist Marcus Coleman told me at the time that it was “asinine to think about dedicating a street where the blood is still flowing on the street”.

Coleman and other activists are hoping that a “Take Back Old Nat” Unity Concert will be a catalyst for the change they’d like to see in the area.
