Voice of the Auburn Tigers Rod Bramblett Joins John and Arch

Rod Bramblett, voice of the Auburn Tigers talks 2016 Season with John and Arch.

Rob started by talking about how Gus Malzahn’s job is viewed by the people in Auburn. Rod thinks that Gus is safe for the moment. Rod told us it looks like John Franklin is the leader in the clubhouse for the starting QB position for the Tigers this season. Rod thinks Javon Robinson has shown hints at RB and hopes he can step up this season to make the move to the next level.

Rod mentioned that people don’t consider Auburn as having a strong defense but thinks that will change this season with the players they have on that side of the ball. Rod joked about the difficult schedule Auburn has this season and said it’s one of the toughest they have had in a while. Rod told us about how much he gets asked about some of the calls he has made for the Auburn Tigers in big games like the one against UGA and the kick six against Bama. Rod told us the only time he has ever pre-planned something to say during a broadcast was in 2010 when Auburn won the National Championship. Rod gave us his best/worst case scenario’s for Auburn this season.
