The Morning Sports News: ‘Royal Celebration’

In San Diego Tuesday night, the American League beat the National League 4-2 to win the All Star Game and get home field advantage for the World Series. Julio Tehran pitched a scoreless inning, the Royals Eric Hosmer won MVP honors, John told us that “Hosmer’s home-run was the first by a Royals player in the all-star game in 27 years.”

Today marks day three of four at SEC Media Days in Alabama, Kirby Smart spoke Tuesday and announced that they haven’t picked a starting quarterback.  He also labeled Nick Chubb and Sony Michel to both be questionable for the season opener, Hugh said “You fired Coach Richt to win titles, I believe to change the mentality it will take time, but after a few years anything less than championships is unacceptable.”
