The Morning Show: ‘Back, Back, Back, Back…Gone’

SEC Media Days continue today outside of Birmingham with Kirby Smart among the coaches that will speak this morning. Smart will take the podium later this morning he put out a statement Monday indicating that defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter faces discipline after his DUI arrest Sunday morning. Hugh said “It’s going to be interesting to hear what Kirby has to say on this, with kicking a player off a few weeks ago, he’s definitely got a decision to make.”

The Major League Baseball All Star game is tonight in San Diego with Chris Sale and Johnny Cueto the starting pitchers.  Julio Tehran is the Braves lone representative, the Marlins Giancarlo Stanton won Monday night’s Home Run Derby, Hugh said “I really enjoyed that last night, I was kinda surprised and the new format made it really enjoyable.”

Kris Humphries is back with the Hawks for another year, signing a one year deal late Monday reportedly worth four million dollars.  That move gives the Hawks 17 players on their roster, which is two over the limit.
