Dukes & Bell get the honor of representing 92-9 The Game at the SEC Media Days.
If I had a chance to go back to that event next week (I am not), and I was given the chance to ask each head coach just one question here are the questions I would ask.
Alabama (Nick Saban) – “Was last season a failure?”
Arkansas (Bret Bielema) – “The race in the west every season is relentless. Is it exhausting or invigorating?”
Auburn (Guz Malzahn) – “Auburn’s talent level remains strong, but are you getting the pieces you really need to run your offense successfully?”
Florida (Jim McElwain) – “Do you think, one Quarterback – just one and Florida is back?”
Georgia (Kirby Smart) – “Do you get a sense from Dawgs fans that the honeymoon of your return is already about to be over and that they expect you will win big – win the East title – right now?”
Kentucky (Mark Stoops) – “Your fans ask, I’ve heard them. A basketball power became great at football at Louisville, will it ever in Lexington?”
LSU (Les Miles) – “You’re the LSU coach, but you’re also a Michigan man. Do you love or hate Jim Harbaugh?”
Mississippi (Hugh Freeze) – “How was your off-season?”
Mississippi State (Dan Mullen) – “Both Starkville and Oxford have tasted incredible success over the past couple of seasons – are the two arch-rivals competing with each other or are you feeding off each other?”
Missouri (Barry Odom) – “Do you feel it’s the football team’s responsibility or even it’s place to bear the burden of having to heal such a divided campus?”
South Carolina (Will Muschamp) – “This is your second chance to be a Head Coach in this league, is it also your last?”
Tennessee (Butch Jones) – “No ‘we will sees’, No ‘maybe’, No ‘if’ – just and ONLY Yes or No. Does your team win the East title this season, Yes or No?”
Texas A&M (Kevin Sumlin) – “Does what happened at Baylor greatly improve your potential future recruiting?”
Vanderbilt (Derek Mason) – “Have you posted your CV at LinkedIn?”
