APS Chairman Discusses Lead Found in School’s Water

Chairman of Atlanta Public Schools, Courtney English, called into Real Talk and spoke with Rashad Richey in regards to the recent news report that lead was found in the water of numerous APS schools. Of the Atlanta Public Schools tested this spring, more than half of the schools tested positive for elevated levels of lead in drinking water. Courtney English spoke candidly about the results and what measures are being taken to ensure that all of the schools will have safe water for the upcoming school year.
