According to sources, the Atlanta Hawks and small forward Kent Bazemore have verbally agreed to a deal for 4 years and $70 million. The fourth year is a player option, according to reports.
The 27 year old averaged 11.6 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game this past season, up from 5.2 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game the season before that. He started 68 games in 21015-2016 for the Hawks and averaged 27.8 minutes per game.
When asked at the end of the season about his status he said, “I would love to return here. I think the past two years I’ve taken a tremendous leap. Not only my professional year but personally. I’m growing more into myself and figuring out life. This place has a special place in my heart.”
