In the city of Atlanta, this school year is becoming vital as its the first full school year after the APS cheating scandal, one that sent shockwaves throughout the country where several teachers, administrators including the superintendent at the time, Dr. Beverly Hall, under indictments.
There are issues of bullying, over-populated classrooms, and the lack of teachers that plague today’s generation of school age children. Roland even references to his earlier days in print journalism where any publication that had anything to do with education on the cover would be one of the lowest selling publications of the year.
