Roland Martin: Updates From #Ferguson
It has been one week since the death of 18 year old Michael “Mike” Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson. These details have been determined as of this past weekend;
An autopsy was performed yesterday at the request of the Brown family by the former New York chief medical examiner, Dr. Michael M. Baden where he concluded that Michael Brown was shot a total of six times. Two of those six were in his head. Baden’s autopsy also speculates that he was shots entered from the front of his body. The clothes of Michael were not available to confirm or deny any shots being taken at close range since there were no traces on his body. Also
Also in the late hours, the National Guard was activated to come to Ferguson today by Gov. Jay Nixon to “help restore peace and order and to protect the citizens of Ferguson.” Reports of tear gas and molotovs being exchanged from authorities and protestors are covering several news outlets this morning, including NewsOne Now with Roland Martin.
